Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau De Parfum Spray

I received this sample of Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium from Influenster and I had to do a review because I was so impressed with it!  First of all, Influenster is a wonderful website that chooses certain people to receive a VoxBox in exchange for writing reviews and rating products.  These boxes included samples and sometimes full-size products.  I would recommend looking into this website if you haven’t already.

Now on to the actual product!  This fragrance can be found at Sephora, department stores, and at http://www.yslbeautyus.com.  The price differs with the size/ounces of the bottle.  0.33 ounces is $25.00, 1 ounce is $67.00, 1.6 ounces is $90.00, and 3 ounces is $115.00.  The bottle of the fragrance is black with silver sparkles all over.

This fragrance is a fabulous seductive and intoxicating scent.  The sweet vanilla was immediately noticeable when I first removed the cap.  I also noticed the white floral notes which added a feminine and soft aspect to it.  All this sweetness and softness is quickly balanced out by the coffee accords and cedar wood essence.  These add more depth and sensuality to the scent.  I love this fragrance because you really get that sweet yet sexy vibe.  It’s perfect for a night out or for special occasions.  I wore it during date night and it was perfect.  You could also just wear it every day because why not smell intoxicating all the time?!

I would recommend this fragrance because it really provides something different when compared to other fragrances.  It may seem like it’s quite pricey but the fragrance is amazing.  This scent combined with your favorite makeup easily creates a confidence boost!
